Foster Care Manual: Fire Drill Record
Record every fire drill, who was there, the time, what happened, evacuation time, etc. We do this every month, although it is only required every 60 days. This gives us a buffer to pick a time when everyone is home without the stress of meeting a deadline. Twice a year the drill has to take place when the children are asleep.Fire drills must be conducted every month under 6400 CLA regulations, every 3 months under 6500 FL regulations and every 2 months in CRR host homes. One drill every six months must be during night time hours.
